In a constrained context, our proposal adapts itself while intruding. Despite the imposing volume resulting from its program, the building succeeds in offering a particular care to each neighbour while proposing new uses.
The unifying purpose of the project is reflected as strongly in its materiality as in its organisation. Its specific position, between a classified wooden area and the Institut Public La Persagotière, has guided our design in this direction.
To extend the landscape, offer large outdoor spaces, invent new shared interior spaces largely open to the landscape, these were the key elements of this operation.
Through the architectural composition of the building, we searched for the calm and serene atmosphere that is specific to the site. Thus, a fair and lasting design emerges, timeless.
